SOLYP-Blog

Last Tuesday, strategy employees from all over the country and different industries came to pre-Christmas Nuremberg once again to participate in this year’s SOLYP3 Key Users Circle. In addition to many familiar faces we were happy to welcome some new ones as well. Following the established event format, two of our customers—JOB AG and BASF—presented their strategic planning and controlling processes and explained how the Strategic Intelligence Software SOLYP3 supports those processes.

Quick and targeted access to strategic core data anytime and anywhere—this enables a tablet app for the strategic intelligence software SOLYP3 which IT students of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg developed during the summer semester 2014 as part of a learning project sponsored by SOLYP Informatik GmbH. The project was part of the AMOS course (Agile Methods & Open Source) taught by Prof. Dr. Dirk Riehle and aimed to provide students with the opportunity to gain some hands-on experience in professional, team-based software development. And the result is quite impressive!

At SOLYP, we maintain close relations with our customers and are always pleased when they recommend our strategic intelligence software SOLYP3 to other interested companies out of their own accord. Such was the case of Clemens Trautmann, CEO of Immonet GmbH, who emphasized the "very good integration" of SOLYP3 in the BI and controlling processes his company during his talk at the Oracle BI Conference, which tool place on June 12, 2014 in Dublin.

SOLYP3 at CeBIT 2014

Friday, 14. March 2014

The CeBIT in Hanover not only attracts IT professionals from all over the world, but apparently also executives and managers who can get excited about software-based optimization of corporate strategic processes. SOLYP was therefore able to welcome an interested audience to its talk "More Planning Security Through Strategic Intelligence." Using vivid practical examples, he explained the functioning and benefits of the software and offered a look ahead at the further product developments planned for 2014.

With the holidays just round the corner, SOLYP3 users from all over Germany gathered on December 5, 2013 in a relaxed atmosphere for our 2nd user convention. The intensive exchange of experiences in the use of the strategic planning software offered all involved parties a chance to share important discoveries and ideas which would help them in their work.
